Daily use of sunscreen has been shown to slow down the ageing process.
According to a ground-breaking study, people who use broad-spectrum sunscreen everyday age 24% less than those who use it only occasionally. The study, published in the influential journal Annals of Internal Medicine, followed more than 900 people for four years. It found that even in participants who started using sunscreen daily in their 40s and 50s, signs of skin ageing were reduced.
